IUCN holds conference on the role of NTFPs in Poverty Alleviation and Biodiversity Conservation
This week in Vietnam, IUCN is co-sponsoring a conference on the role of non-timber forest products in poverty alleviation and biodiversity conservation.
Conducted with the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development and other organizations including RECOFTC,
the four-day conference aims to allow participants to share
experiences, methodologies, product and market information, and other
lessons learned from NTFP and conservation initiatives.
