RRI Program Meeting in New York

RRI held its annual Program meeting in New York City on April 20, 2007. The meeting is an opportunity for representatives of all Partner organizations and key RRI Collaborators to gather to share information on important activities and joint projects underway, plan and coordinate new projects, and consider strategic opportunities.

Key outcomes of the meeting included:

• Brainstorming about two new strategic analyses in progress - a paper on Forest Tenure & Global Challenges, and a policy brief and strategic update on ownership of the world's forests;

• Updating Partners and Collaborators present on progress on program activities and outputs for 2007, jointly reviewing the delivery schedules and responsibilities; and

• Sharing information among Partners and Collaborators for more engaged and strategic collaboration on upcoming events, activities and opportunities.
