CIFOR-RRI regional research team meets in Burkina Faso
On March 11th and 12th 2008, the Africa regional team of the CIFOR-RRI research project met for a regional research workshop in Burkina Faso. The regional team is coordinating research in Central and West Africa for the CIFOR-RRI research project "Improving Equity and Livelihoods in Community Forestry - Global action research in support of rights and resources."
Researchers and RRI Partners collaborating on the project met to share research experience and emerging lessons from the case studies in Cameroon, Ghana and Burkina Faso. Participants discussed prospects for future projects and ways of improving the methodological approaches used, and began to define a common strategy for supporting ongoing policy reforms in Central and West Africa.
