A presentation made at the World Bank conference on the Social Dimensions of Climate Change, held in Washington DC in March 2008. In a presentation to climate change and land policy experts, RRI questioned the social dimensions of climate change interventions and urged intergovernmental institutions to consider the social implications of mitigation and adaptation mechanisms, and questioned the inherent inequity in “who sets the rules”. | |
