RRI’s Dialogues on Forests, Rights and Climate Change have often had outcomes that change political landscapes. As Myrna Safitri of the Epistema Institute, an Indonesian non-governmental organization, reported,

“In 2011, RRI, together with our forestry ministry and others, initiated and hosted an international conference on forest tenure. That was the big moment when the issue of forest tenure reform started to rise again in Indonesia.”
